WATCH: Evander Hospital health workers demand wage increase

NEHAWU said they will not stop until the employer meets their demands.

Evander – The health workers in Evander Hospital who are members of the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union joined a nationwide salary increase strike that began yesterday, March 6.

NEHAWU wants a 10% salary increase for all public sector employees while the government only offers 3%. Services are interrupted in Evander Hospital.

NEHAWU said they will not stop until the employer meets their demands.
