A Tactical Intelligence Operation on the R23 at the Elmtree turnoff on 23 August led to the arrest of two men in connection with hijacking.
The operation included the Standerton Police, Standerton K9 Unit, Vispol, Kasselman Security Services, the Lekwa Fire Department and AfriForum.
According to police, the suspects were travelling in a blue Toyota Siyaya with registration number CN11XKGP.
