They followed up on a lead from a community member about a man who was in possession of an illegal firearm.
MILAN PARK – The station commander of the eMzinoni Police, Capt Abel Mahlangu, and four police members recovered two stolen weapons and made two arrests.
They followed up on a lead from a community member about a man who was in possession of an illegal firearm.
On following up, two suspects were in possession of unlicensed firearms and were arrested.
Mr Mahlangu said: “We would like to applaud the community of eMzinoni for providing us with valuable information and leading us directly to the criminals.
“It is this relationship between the police and the community which ensures ongoing successes.
“To the valiant men and women of eMzinoni Police Station, congratulations on following up on these tip-offs and ensuring the response time is kept to a minimum.”
