Hijacked VW Polo recovered near eMbalenhle.

A hijacked black Volkswagen Polo was recovered shortly after it was stolen at around 21:30 near Gate 7 in eMbalenhle last night, September 1.

According to information received, the driver was confronted by two armed suspects who stole the vehicle.

The victim managed to escape unharmed, and the suspects fled with only the car.

An alert was issued by eMbalenhle SAPS to surrounding areas, while the vehicle’s tracking company provided the coordinates of its location.

Members of N17 Emergency Response, Jelane Security, Charl Cilliers SAPS and Tracker responded to the stationary tracking signal and recovered the vehicle through a coordinated operation.

No suspects were found at the scene. The vehicle had already been stripped of its front headlights, and the suspects reportedly locked it before leaving with the keys.
