Housebreakings still a concern
Police reported that several housebreakings have occurred over the last few weeks.

eMZINONI – Housebreakings in eMzinoni are increasing with the festive season drawing closer.
The local police reported that several housebreakings have occurred over the last few weeks.
Const Cynthia Mtsweni, communications officer for the eMzinoni Police Station, said: “We urge residents to ensure their houses are properly secured and encourage people to form street committees or join the sector police to eliminate all crime in eMzinoni.
“We would also like to commend the Sector Police and the community for their collective effort in making eMzinoni a safer town.
“Residents should be vigilant during the festive season and ensure they double check their houses before they leave on holiday.
“Ask your neighbour to visit your house frequently to see whether everything is still in place.”
