Men arrested for burglary
The police followed the men and arrested them in connection with possession of stolen property.
THUBELIHLE – Vincent Mahlangu (28), Melusi Mathombeni (22) and Nangambo Ndlovu (22) were arrested and charged following a burglary at a business on 10 January.
A 32-year-old business owner discovered that her shop had been broken into and hair pieces valued at R5 000 were stolen.
The police received a tip-off from the community that the men were selling hair pieces in the township.
The police followed the men and arrested them.
They were charged with business burglary and appeared in the Kriel Magistrate’s Court on 13 January.
The case was postponed to 20 January pending further investigation.
