Man arrested in possession of stolen property
The police received a tip-off from a community member who told them that he saw a suspicious-looking man, carrying a plasma television, who entered a house in Sakhile.
A man (24) was arrested for possession of stolen property in Sakhile on 18 March.
The police received a tip-off from a community member who told them that he saw a suspicious-looking man, carrying a plasma television, who entered a house in Sakhile.
They investigated and asked the suspect to provide papers that will prove the television set belonged to him.
The suspect failed and they arrested him.
A case of possession of stolen property was opened and is being investigated by Const Bheki Mpila of Sakhile Detectives.
The suspect is going to appear in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 3 April.
