
SECUNDA – The police arrested two men, aged 33 and 35,on Monday, 10 March in connection with theft.
They were apparently in the process of removing a tyre from a vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle spotted them and alerted the police immediately.
The police said the men were driving a Toyota Quantum and they recovered eight tyres in the vehicle.
It is alleged that the men might have removed the tyres from other vehicles, especially the spare wheels of those vehicles.
They appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 12 March.
The case was postponed to this Wednesday, 19 March.
