Yho Geh Tha aims high

Yho Geh Tha, an Urban Kwaito group from eMbalenhle, will soon release their new single.

eMBALENHLE – Urban Kwaito group Yho Geh Tha will be releasing new singles soon.

This group comprises four talented dancers and a vocalist.

Linda Lephoto, Bheki Khoza, Mike Nkabinde and Mpho Tsale formed the group in October with the aim of showcasing their talents and nurturing their God-given gifts.

They have won the hearts of many fans through their popular songs, abeze la, khumuli skipa and Lerato, which they recorded with local artists DJ Fanzo, Samtha and Sir Spledge.

They have worked with various well known artists, such as iHhashi elimhlophe and Arthur Mafokate.

Linda said they will again use their talents and skills to win more fans and that the experience their have, will contribute much in ensuring they reach higher heights in their career.

“We have worked with many experienced artists and learnt a lot from them.

“Working with them has exposed us to many dynamics in the music industry and I believe with this experience we will not let our fans down.

“I hope our singles will entertain them.”

Yho Geh Tha has shared the stage with various well recognised artists, such as DJ Tira, Thebe and Big Nuz which they regard as their role model.

Mike said the group has a very inspiring vision for the future.

“We want to collaborate with various artists in our area.

“eMbalenhle has so much talent, we just need more facilities and resources to make sure it is sustained and exposed.

“In future we intend to open a dancing academy and a recording studio so we can scout for pupils who have talent and train them.”

Mpho added by saying that regardless of financial obstacles the group is facing, they will push to make sure their dream is fulfilled.

“We will work hard because we want this to materialise.

“We do not want our vision to be just good on paper, we want it to come to pass.

“It is our desire to share our skills with upcoming artists,” said Mpho.

Bheki concluded by extending his gratitude to their fans, friends and families.

He said it is their support that keeps the group going and he urged fans to keep supporting them by downloading their songs and inviting them to gigs.
