Jabulani found guilty
Jabulani Shabangu gets 13 years imprisonment or R26 000 fine.

EVANDER – Jabulani Isaac Shabangu (28) received 13 years’ imprisonment or a fine of R26 000 in the Evander Magistrate’s Court recently.
He pleaded guilty to one count of theft of five bank cards, one count of contravention of Section 86(3) of the ECT Act, Act 25/2002 illegal interception of data, one count of contravention of Section 86(4) of the ECT Act, Act 25/2002 illegal possession of a skimming device and one count of fraud.
Shabangu was arrested in 2012 at a Sasol filling station in Secunda and was in possession of a skimming device.
He was found to have had five stolen bank cards in his possession and these were also counterfeit.
He used these counterfeit bank cards to process transactions on the Speed Point at a filling station and then took the cash and submitted the slips.
His sentence will not run concurrently.
