Police are looking for reservists

KINROSS – The local police invite residents who want to become police reservists, to apply.

A police reservist is a member of the community who performs part-time policing functions for the South African Police Service on a voluntary basis.

Const Esther Nhlapho, spokeman for the Kinross Police Station, said people interested must be at least 25 years and younger than 40 years and must be mentally and physically healthy.

“Have sound character, be able to undergo and complete psychonometric evaluation.

“You must have a Grade 12 certificate and speak English and another official language.

“You must be employed permanently, have no tattoos, have no criminal record and have a fixed address. Former police members with clean records are welcome.”
