Police need help with a case
Security guard was tied up while robbers stole Sasol truck.
BETHAL – A Sasol truck was robbed on Monday, 31 June at the Sasol Nitro by three men where a security guard was ordered to lie down with his hands tied up.
The men kicked one of the doors of the the room off to gain entry.
Later when the security guard freed himself, it was discovered that a diesel tanker was stolen.
The abandoned truck was discovered on Tuesday, 1 July on the Weltevreden Road in Bethal with all the diesel drained. No arrests have been made. Any person with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects, can contact Capt Jeanette Van Tonder at 017 647 9927 or 082 579 0177.
