People invited to hip hop show
Sjenge Events and Promotion invites people to the Back to Basics Hip-hop Event.
SECUNDA – Sjenge Events and Promotion will be hosting the Back to Basics Hip-hop event on Saturday, 19 July at the Taifa Joint.
It is aimed at promoting and uplifting local hip-hop artists.
Mr Bob Manana, CEO of Sjenge Events and Promotion, said there are many local hip-hop artists who are not recognised.
“With this event we want to give them a platform to showcase their talents.
“This is our fifth event of this nature and we managed to reach numerous artists in our area.
“We intend to host a bigger event in the near future which will accommodate all racial groups in celebrating 20 years of democracy.”
Various artists will take part in this event, such as DJ Mzee, Seven Sign, Integrity, Bob Manana and many other local artists.
Entrance is free and the event begins at 1pm.
