eMzinoni gospel band prepares for video shoot
Lion of the Tribe of Judah raps in the name of God.
eMZINONI – Band members from the Lion of the Tribe of Judah invite music lovers to a special show at the Light Eternal Praise Centre from 3pm until late on 2 August to raise funds.
The money will be used for shooting a video for their debut CD, Wilderness Prayer.
The band consists of Oncemore Mokwena, Musawenkosi Nkosi, Tebogo Mogola, Sfiso (Philo) Mdaka and Zakhele (Ziggy) Mashinini.
They use modern gospel music that include Kwaito, hip hop, poetry and house music, to reach out to young people.
Entrance is R50 for adults and R25 for children between the ages of eight and 12.
