Phase 1 of Secunda Value Centre has begun
The development will be undertaken in two phases and comprise approximately 20 000m² at completion.
SECUNDA – Phase one of a new development, Secunda Value Centre, will open in May next year.
This new development, being undertaken by Khala Cose Neotrend Property Developers, is located in PDP Kruger Street, the main access road to the Sasol plant and it is also 1km from Secunda Mall.
The development which comprises two erven, 32 772 square metres and 28 690 square metres in extent respectively and is also zoned for retail, offices, dealerships, places of refreshment and a hotel.
According to the spokesman, Mr Dirk Nel, the zoning has been approved and proclaimed.
Mass earthworks have been completed and construction of the development has already begun.
A comprehensive retail study was done for the proposed development.
The rationale behind the development of Secunda x 60 is to create a value orientated retail development which will complement the recently completed Secunda Mall.
The development will be undertaken in two phases and comprise approximately 20 000m² at completion.
Phase one will be approximately 8 500m² and be anchored by a 5 500m² Builder’s Warehouse and a Burger King Drive Thru.
