Housebreaking’s on the increase

Thieves break into a house.

More Sakhile residents are losing valuable belongings due to housebreaking that are on the rise.

These incidences usually occur during the day, when the owners are away.

Another theft occurred when a resident was at work on 29 July.

When he returned home he found that the door to his house was forced open and several items were stolen.

The items include a computer valued at R3 000, an amplifier worth R500, a microwave valued at R400, shoes worth R1 350, a wallet with R650 and cards.

He immediately reported the matter to the Sakhile Police.

Const Jabulane Sithole is investigating the matter.

The police requested the community to report such incidences and not buy stolen goods.
