Accidents the order of the day
Owners must keep their cattle off the roads.
HIGHVELD – Three people died on Saturday, 23 August in an accident between Trichardt and Bethal when a tyre of the vehicle they were travelling in burst.
They were on their way to a funeral in Davel when the accident happened.
Seven cars and two cattle were involved in an accident on Saturday, 23 August between Kinross and Kriel when a car hit one a cow.
The cow died and was still lying in the middle of the road and Ms Elize Gray hit it as well.
She did not sustain injuries and got out of her vehicle to warn other motorists.
Another motorist however and two motorcycles also hit the dead cow.
Eight people were injured in this accident.
Another accident happened on Friday, 22 August between Evander and eMbalenhle at the road to Brendan Village when two vehicles collided.
Nobody was seriously injured.
