Twist in tail with man that was stabbed
According to a young man of 18, the man that was stabbed tried to rob him.
There is a twist in the tail with regard to the man that two attackers allegedly stabbed on 17 September.
According to a young man (18), working in the industrial area, the injured man tried to rob him.
“It happened at the railway bridge on the way to Meyerville next to the scrap yard when I was on my way home with my bicycle on Wednesday afternoon.
“The man approached me with a knife and took my ID and cigarettes that were in my pockets.
“He then tried to take my bicycle, I tried to defend myself and pushed him back and the knife got lodged in his shoulder,” he said.
The man that was stabbed said he was the one approached by two men and tried to defend himself.
“The case is being investigated by police and neither of them have been arrested,” Lt Nhlabathi said.
