WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT: Video – Worker assaults Stanwest pupil
A 16-year-old Grade 10 pupil at Stanwest Combined School was brutally attacked by a general worker, in full view of his classmates.
The general worker that attacked a 16-year-old Grade 10 pupil at Stanwest Combined School has been suspended from the school.
He will be suspended until the school governing body has made a decision on his future.
The Standerton Advertiser published the article on 23 May, when the pupil was brutally attacked in full view of his classmates.The incident occurred before class started with no apparent teacher supervision.
The pupil was beaten with a broomstick with such force that the head of the broom broke off.
Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, spokesman for the Standerton Police, said: “He is out on bail awaiting his next court appearance.”
Lt Nhlabathi could however not confirm his next appearance date at the time of going to press.
