Court sentences rapists

Court takes action against rapists.

HIGHVELD – Several criminals were convicted recently for sexual crimes.

A 15-year-old boy from eMbalenhle appeared in court for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl.

In another case in Kinross, a man was sentenced to jail after he had raped his daughter.

MD Mofokeng and TJ Skhosana from eMbalenhle were sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment after they had raped a woman in Extension 18.

SB Mpondo from eMbalenhle was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for raping two children and M.H. Maseko, also from eMbalenhle, was sentenced to 16 years’ for raping a 12-year-old girl.

S. Munkuambes was found guilty of rape and sexual assault and for being an illegal immigrant.

He raped an 11-year-old girl.

L.S. Memane from eMbalenhle was sent to jail for 10 years for raping a 26-year-old woman.

A man from Bethal was sent to jail for three years, suspended for five years, for sexual assaulting his daughter and E.N. Mphuti from eMzinoni was sent to 10 years’ imprisonment for raping a 16-year-old child.

T.L.L. Nkosi from Leslie was sent to jail after he had tried to rape and later murdering a 42-year-old woman.

D. Nkosi from eMbalenhle was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment for raping a three-year-old girl.

Another man from eMbalenhle, E.Y. Nyathi, was sent to jail for seven years for raping a 21-year-old woman.

A group of boys from Leslie appeared in court for statutory rape of a 12-year-old girl.

A man from eMzinoni was sent to jail for 15 years on three counts for raping a 12-year-old girl.

A. Bodlani from eMbalenhle was sent to jail for raping a 16-year-old girl.

L.T. Nkosi from Leslie appeared in court for attempted rape.
