SECUNDA – MTN in the shopping centre in the CBD was robbed on Sunday, 5 October at 12.15pm.
According to Lt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for Secunda Police Station, it is alleged that three men entered the shop.
Two forcefully grabbed one of the employees.
One took her to the store room, while the other man remained with the other employee.
“The men instructed them to open the safe, but before the safe was opened, they fled with cell phones to the value of approximately R300 000.
The police are still investigating the case and no arrests have been made yet.
