eMBALENHLE – A 19-year-old secondary school pupil from eMbalenhle near Secunda is due to appear before the Evander Magistrate’s Court today, 16 October on a murder charge.
Information at police’s disposal revealed that the suspect had an argument with another 19-year-old boy who was also attending the same school.
It is alleged that the two pupils were involved in a physical fight when the suspect apparently ran to his home and returned with a knife and stabbed the other pupil.
The victim was rushed to a local clinic where he later died.
The police traced the suspect and arrested him on the same day.
