ANC: ‘ Nothing wrong with leadership at Lekwa Municipality’
ANC regional offices responded to Sanco's demands during a meeting recently.
The regional office of the ANC finally responded to Sanco’s memorandum after they marched to the Lekwa municipal offices three times.
The two parties recently had a meeting where the issues listed in the memorandum were discussed.
According to Mr Nicholas Selepe, Sanco zonal convener, the ANC said there was nothing wrong with the leadership at the Lekwa Municipality.
“They said the billing system can be fixed and the mayor is more than capable to do that, she just needs support,” Mr Selepe said.
The ANC also said Mr Sipho Mkwanazi, municipal spokesman, was properly appointed and the money used for hired cars was properly used.
