9 November is Tongue Twister Day.

‘The seething sea ceaseth and thus the seething sea sufficeth us.’

Tongue-twisters may rely on rapid alternation between similar but distinct phonemes or other features of a spoken language in order to be difficult to articulate.

9 November  is Tongue Twister Day, here are a few tongue twisters to get you started:

Zulu:

UCele ucambalele ocansini ucabanga ngecebo lokuciba ucilo ngomcibisholo.

Afrikaans:

Hoekom tok toktokkies tok-tok-tok teen honderd hoenderhokke?

English:

Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked
