Pupils get their results

Pupils from high schools in the Standerton area received their year-end results on 6 January.

Hoërskool Standerton received a 98.69% pass rate for the 2014 Grade 12 pupils.

Altogether 137 pupils passed with 154 distinctions.

The best performing pupil was Mariaan Nel with seven distinctions and a 87.9% average.

Hoërskool George Hofmeyr obtained a 100% pass rate for the seventh year running.

Khula Sakhile Secondary School got a 96.6% pass rate with two distinctions.

Thobelani Secondary School received a 80% pass rate.

Stanwest Combined School received a 97.2 % pass rate with 17 distinctions.
