Young inventor wins science competition

He is currently working on another invention named free energy.

Thabiso Msimanga from Sakhile won a science competition on 3 December last year.

He obtained first place competing against 50 inventors.

The competition was held in Stellenbosch, hosted by the founder of J.C. le Roux, between 2 to 3 December.

The 20-year-old was invited to a science seminar in Johannesburg in February and is heading to Chicago in the USA at the end of May.

He will be taking all his inventions with him.

He is currently working on another invention named free energy.

“Scientist Nikola Tesla wanted to prove that electricity can flow through air,” Thabiso said.

“I am continuing where he left off.”

The experiment is as follows:

He connected a coil to an electric circuit and placed another coil to the connected one. An electric current flew around the connected coil and produced magnetic fields.

The magnetic fields jumped to the coil that was not connected to a circuit.

He then connected two alligator clips to the magnified coil and connected the clips to an electric motor.

The propeller wings spanned, proving that electricity can flow through air.

There is no stopping this young inventor, he wants to conquer the world, one invention at a time.

He thanked Messrs Sipho Suntsha, Johann Verburgh, Andrew Uys and Ms Anikie Herbst who sponsored the trip to the competition.
