KINROSS – The local municipal offices were burgled on Saturday, 16 January when thieves used an unknown object to open the back door.
According to the security, they were patrolling in front of the premises and did not notice the burglars entering the back of the building.
One of the electricians arrived at the office on Sunday morning, 17 January to collect equipment and saw that the place was turned upside down.
Valuable items such as safety gear were stolen.
Mr Johan Zandberg, electrician, said the safety gear is expensive and not every company uses it.
The police are investigating and no one has been arrested yet.
