Zamanene makes it to the top 12
Zamanene is one of the Miss Mpumalanga finalists.
Zamanene Nene is one of the 12 Miss Mpumalanga finalists for 2015.
She was born in Standerton and grew up in Sakhile.
“I did Grade 1 to 8 at Stanwest Combined School and then proceeded with Grade 9 to 12 at Hoërskool Standerton,” she said.
Zamanene is currently studying social work at the University of Johannesburg.
“This is my first beauty pageant and I entered to empower myself,” she also said.
This third year student wants to restore hope in young people because she believes that her purpose in life is to serve God’s people.
“I would love to enter Miss South Africa and if I win Miss Mpumalanga, I will definitely enter next year.
“If I do not win, I will enter after I finish my studies.”
She said she is prepared to do what is expected of her and more to serve the people in Mpumalanga.
This 21-year-old is going to Nelspruit to attend the State of the Province Address on 26 February.
