eMBALENHLE – Nicholas Mashiane, Mr South Africa contestant, launched his community outreach project, Making a Difference, at the Lifalethu Primary School recently.

The project is aimed at restoring hope for and love among needy kids.

Nicholas donated shoes to the pupils of the school.

He said he is inspired by his humble background.

“I know and understand what it feels like to have nothing, hence I stood up to make a difference in my community by donating these shoes.

“There is nothing as fulfilling as giving to the needy and putting a smile on their faces.”

He thanked those who support the project and urged people and businesses to join him in making a difference.

His next project will be for his former school, the Isibanisezwe Primary School.
