Evander residents urged to be careful
Police have raised concerns about the increase of house robberies in Evander.
EVANDER – Police warned residents to be cautious when they open their gates to park their cars.
Criminals are targeting people when they open their gates and rob them.
Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli, police spokesman, said a house owner was recently involved in an armed robbery by three men while he was opening his gate.
He said they pointed a firearm at him and took his jewellery, cell phones and cash.
No one has been arrested yet and the police urged residents to help them with any information.
