Hoëveld Photography Club showcases talent at monthly meeting in Secunda

The next meeting will take place on September 4 at 18:00 for 18:30 in the Scrum In at the Sasol Recreation Club.

Photographers showcased their best work at the Hoëveld Photography Club’s monthly meeting on August 14, where the set subject was “Forms in Nature”.

The photographers also welcomed guest speaker and judge Johan Brits from the Vanderbijlpark Photo Club.

Leon Pelser was the winner of the month for the set-subject category for his photograph Curves in Nature.

He also received a certificate of merit in the monochrome category for Joyful on Stage. Hanno de Beer was the best senior photographer for his photograph Redbull Gives You Wings for the month.

He also received a certificate of merit in the pictorial category for Trappe Klim Kleur by Kleur. Ina Annandale was named the best junior photographer for Lost in Colour.

She also received certificates of merit in the monochrome category for Muse in Mono and in the set-subject category forFeather Forms.

Hannes Griessel received certificates of merit in the landscape category for Die Gefluister van die Kloof and in the pictorial category for Cathedral.

Carien Schabort received certificates of merit in the monochrome category for Done Dancing, the nature category for Painted Sky, and the pictorial category forLook at Me and Firefighter.

The Hoëveld Photography Club’s next meeting will take place on September 4 at 18:00 for 18:30 in the Scrum In at the Sasol Recreation Club.
