Police talk about crime againts children

Members of the local police, CPF, Changer Guluva and Seeff Properties, recently visited Laerskool H.M. Swart during Child Protection Week.
According to Const Thomas Mogadime, communications officer of the police, the main idea was to educate pupils about children’s rights, bullying and its consequences, sexual assault, child abuse and other crimes related to children.
Mrs Belinda Louw from Seeff Properties Bethal, encouraged pupils to love one another and to report any form of crime to the police.
“We are privileged as the police to have people from different companies who we can work with to fight any form of crime related to children,” said ConstMogadime.
He also said that children need to be protected, cared for, loved and supported.
“We have to give them the protection they need in order for them to feel safe at all times.”
“ Our children enjoyed every moment of the presentation done by Const Mogadime and his team,” said Mr Nardus Labuschagne, principal.
