Mlungisi pays fine for possession of stolen property

Police questioned him about the television and he said three men brought it to him.

Mlungisi Terrence Mncube paid a R700 fine in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 3 June for possessing stolen property.

The police arrested him after a tip-off, while investigating a housebreaking and theft case, and went to his house and found him watching television.

They questioned him about the television and he said three men brought it to him.

He also said he gave them R500 in exchange for the plasma television.

The police urged the community not buy stolen goods and requested them to report illegal activities.
