More than 30 illegal immigrants arrested in eMba

Two illegal firearms were confiscated in eMbalenhle.

Residents of eMbalenhle woke up with Operation Fiela on their doorsteps again.

The police, the SANDF, Home Affairs, Social Development and other relevant departments began their operation on Thursday, 18 June at about 7.30am.

Capt Magonseni Nkosi, spokesman of the eMbalenhle Police Station, said they confiscated two illegal firearms, one with three live rounds and another one with six live rounds.

Three people of 25 and 26 year old were arrested for being in possession of 41 boxes of dagga, the illegal selling of liquor, and the selling of counterfeit cigarettes.

More than 30 illegal immigrants were also arrested.
