Gogo dies weeks after fire

According to Ms Sesi Khoza, a family member, Khanyisile and Jane, her grandson’s girlfriend, discovered Ms Mahlangu had passed away when they went to check on her.

Ms Zamekile Mahlangu whose house went up in flames on 4 June, died on Wednesday, 15 July.

She was with her grandchildren, Siphesihle and Khanyisile Phahlamohlaka.

According to Ms Sesi Khoza, a family member, Khanyisile and Jane, her grandson’s girlfriend, discovered Ms Mahlangu had passed away when they went to check on her.

Ms Mahlangu’s two-year-old great-grandson, Nkosingiphile Phahlamohlaka, died at the Standerton Hospital after sustaining serious burns in the fire.
