BETHAL – Russels/Joshua Doore has been robbed this morning and apparently the robbers seek refuge in the roof of the retail outlet when the police arrived.
Bethal’s main street has been barricaded by the police and people were asked to move away for their own safety.
The dog unit is also on the scene.
It is not yet known how many robbers are involved.
UPDATE – 14:32
One suspect was arrested after he tried to rob Russels/Joshua Doore.
According to the police he was armed with a toy gun.
No one was hurt.
All roads are open and it is safe to go to town.
The dog unit are still on scene.
