A flower to brighten up Spring Day
Brightening up motorists day.
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) celebrated Spring Day for the first time by handing out flowers to motorists at various traffic intersections.
According to Xolani Mthethwa, Head of Tourism at MTPA, the campaign is aimed at celebrating the day with the community and making them feel special.
Spring Day coincides with the official start of Tourism Month which is celebrated annually to encourage people to travel and to discover the hidden treasures of their provinces.
The MTPA also encourages people to visit some of the less visited areas in the province.
