eMba women ask the police to intervene

Fighting among gangs increase.

eMBALENHLE – Concerned women from Mandela Section are at the eMbalenhle Police Station to ask for police intervention regarding the gangs in the area.

They said their children are now afraid to go to school, because of the fighting among gangs.

The management of the police station stopped all the women from entering the station and only allowed a few into the office.

The newspaper’s journalist was also not allowed to attend the public meeting.

The women who were told to wait outside, are upset.

Capt Mangoseni Nkosi, police spokesman, said there will be a media briefing afterwards.
