A passenger died after a vehicle overturned between Thuthukani and Standerton yesterday.
According to the Department of Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management, the car, with eight occupants, was travelling towards Standerton.
They said most of the passengers were seriously injured, but the driver escaped with minor injuries.
According to them the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
