Sasol cricket teams win
Sasol 1’s next match is on Saturday against Piet Retief in Piet Retief and Sasol 2 plays against Ermelo Frogs at Sasol.
SECUNDA – Sasol 1 Cricket Club played against the Bulldogs Cricket Club on Saturday 10 October and won with 201 runs bowling the Bulldogs for only 91 runs.
Sasol 1 went in to bat first and scored 292/7 in their 50 overs with Vernon Fourie scoring 68 and Neil Salzmann who came in at 9 to bat, scoring 66 not out.
JD van Dyk was the best bowler with 5 wickets for 13 runs in 3 overs.
Sasol 2 Cricket Club played against Kinross at Sasol and won with 196 runs.
The team scored 286/8 with Arnold Nel scoring 121 runs and Andre Allerston scoring 40.
Sasol 2 bowled Kinross for 90 runs.
JP van Zyl was the best bowler yet again with 4 wickets for 11 runs in 5 overs.
