Eskom trains suppliers

They said sometimes companies submit incomplete documents, some submit wrong information and their pricing is way above the market.

Eskom Tutuka Power Station held training for all local businesses within the Lekwa Municipality on 22 October.

The Eskom Stakeholders Forum raised concerns, saying local companies are not prioritised when there are business opportunities at Tutuka.

“Through our engagement with the forum we realised the need to train local companies,”Ms Christabel Zembe, Business Support Manager at Tutuka, said.

She also said the people, who deal with tender processing, attended one of the forum meetings and gave reasons why local companies are not getting contracting jobs at Eskom.
