Woman sustains serious injuries after assault
The man allegedly hit her with a heavy object on the head.
A woman sustained serious injuries to the head after her boyfriend allegedly assaulted her.
According to the Community Policing Forum (CPF), the man suspected her of stealing his money.
The man allegedly hit her with a heavy object on the head. The woman was admitted to the Standerton Hospital.
Mr Charles Msibi of the CPF said she was later discharged.
The CPF apprehended the attacker at Mahala Park on 15 November and handed him over to the Sakhile Police.
A case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was opened.
