A man was arrested for dealing in drugs after the police found him in possession of an illegal substance.
According to the police, they received a tip-off and acted on it.
They went to a house and asked the suspect for permission to search the premises and the suspect allowed them. The police recovered 25 half packets of dagga.
According to the police, they asked him about the recovered stash and he said he did not know who it belonged to.
The police asked to search him and found mandrax tablets in his pockets and an undisclosed amount of money.
According to them, they asked him if the dagga was the only dagga in his possession.
The suspect took out more dagga in a plastic bag that he hid under a rock in an open field.
