Four armed men broke into the South African Brewery in Standerton on Thursday 3 December.
They tied up all the staff working that night.
According to Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, the robbers tried to get access to the safe.
They used a grinder to open the safe, but were unsuccessful.
None of the staff on duty were injured, although they were in shock.
No one was arrested as all four intruders got away before the police arrived.
A case of business robbery was opened.
