Learners vow to stay away from crime

Some of the inmates motivated the learners and warned them against drugs

Learners of Botleng High School have vowed to stay away from crime, this was after their visit to Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Service in Pretoria recently.

The visit was jointly organised by the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison and the Department of Education saw the 60 learners attend the annual programme where they were educated on the dangers of crime and were allowed to experience life in prison in order to discourage them from committing crime.

Some of the inmates motivated the learners and warned them against drugs.
