The body of an unknown African man was found floating in Finch Dam in Kruger Street, Secunda.

It was discovered by a security officer from Kusasa Community Ambassador during his morning patrols at around 7am today.

Secunda Police spokesman, Lt Bettina Zondo, said no identity documents were found on the body.

The man was wearing a dark brown jacket, blue shoes, brown trousers and a black shirt.

The police are investigating the cause of death.
