EFF left without answers

“We were told to go to Mr Sipho Nkosi, HOD Cooperate Services, who told us that he had not seen or read the memorandum,”

Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) recently went to the Lekwa municipal offices for answers, to no avail.

The EFF marched and submitted a memorandum with a list of their demands on 29 January.

Ms Maria Ntuli, MMC Technical Services and Ms Busi Sekhonde, MMC Cooperate Services, received the memorandum on behalf of the municipality on the day of the march.

According to Mr Sandile Zulu, EFF member, they did not find Ms Sekhonde upon arrival.

He said they were sent to the mayor’s office and did not receive any assistance.

“We were then told to go to Mr Sipho Nkosi, HOD Cooperate Services, who told us that he had not seen or read the memorandum,” Mr Zulu also said.
