Lekwa employees are still unhappy

However, the employees were not happy that she only spoke to the shop stewards because they were expecting her to meet all of them

Ms Refiloe Mtsweni, MEC of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta), met the South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) shop stewards to discuss the issues that they raised in the memorandum which was submitted on 10 February.

According to Mr Sibusiso Mdhluli, Samwu shop steward, Ms Mtshweni asked them to send her all the documents in their possession that serve as proof of the allegations against Mr Linda Tshabalala, Lekwa municipal manager.

She requested more time to investigate the allegations.

However, the employees were not happy that she only spoke to the shop stewards because they were expecting her to meet all of them.
