Roads blocked, no transport to work

Vukanini Taxi Association marchers block road in and out of eMbalenhle.

eMBALENHLE – Thousands of commuters are without transport due to a march by the Vukanini Taxi Association.

Roads in and out of eMbalenhle are closed.

A large number of taxis are on the road between eMbalenhle and Graceland Casino to submit a memorandum.

They are apparently marching to the Govan Mbeki Municipal office to hand in a memorandum about bad service delivery.

They demand better taxi stops and roads and say their taxis get damaged because of the poor road conditions.
