Municipality promises to send plumbers to sewage spill

The municipality said they do not have funds for repairs.

The Lekwa Municipality has promised to send their plumbers to look into the sewage spill opposite the mosque.

This issue has been persisting for months now with sewage also accumulating on a gravel path next to Muller Street as it passes underneath the bridge.

The overwhelming smell from the sewage spill can not be ignored.

The sewage spill is close to the pipe that AfriForum replaced.

The organisation replaced the pipe after they discovered that it was transporting raw sewage into the Vaal River.
